This year was Christopher's first Christmas....We celebrated Christmas Eve with the Jordan family...all 23 of them:) Not only was it Christopher's first Christmas, but it was the first Christmas Eve where we hosted everyone. It was crazy at times, but we still had a lot of fun:) The family seems to keep getting bigger and bigger each year....Christmas morning Adam and Christopher got to open their presents from Mom and dad. They got lots of toys, and of course Barney movies:) For dad this year the boys picked out some snow boots....They definitely came in handy with the blizzard we are having. For mom Adam and Christopher picked out a digital frame for me to display all their wonderful pictures and a mom with her 2 boys Willow tree Angel. Later on today we are going to celebrate Christmas with the Dinsmore family. It has indeed been a merry Christmas.

Disney Babies
This year for Halloween Adam and Christopher dressed up as Donald Duck and Mickey Mouse. I think we were more excited about the costumes than the boys were but it was still fun. Kaylee aka "the Old Lady" came over to go trick or treating with us. Even though it was too cold for Christopher to come out trick or treating with us we still had a great time!
Adam surprisingling kept his costume on too:)
Mickey Mouse:) He was such a little trooper letting us dress him up:) The Costume was huge for him if you can't tell:)
What a great Halloween!

Don't Blink
Have you ever heard a song on the radio and thought that is so true? That's how I feel when I sit here and think about everything that has happened in our lives the last 2 years.
August 11 2007 seems like only yesterday when we were saying "I do". And now as I sit here preparing for our move at the end of the month I am trying to figure out where the past 2 years have gone. With 2 sleeping little boys I sometimes find it hard to believe everything that has happened.
When Dan and I got married we never thought that we would have outgrown our townhouse in just 2 short years with adding 2 cute little boys to our family...I can't imagine what the next 50 years are going to look like.

"BA NEY"
Within the past couple weeks Adam has come to absolutely love Barney. Everytime we turn on the tv, Adam goes running up to it saying "BA BA" or lately its been BA NEY. Its so cute watching him dance to all the music. There is one song though Adam particularly loves....."If All the Raindrops." If you are familular with Barney at all you know what song I am talking about. The video below is just a sample of Adam while he is watching Barney. If you listen close you will hear Adam's favorite song! He is so funny:)

Nice Stems
We'll be going to the State Fair
So Sunday was a very big day for Adam; he was going to the State fair for the very first time. We loaded up his wagon, dropped Christopher off at Aunite Mindy's house since he was too little for the fair and away we went. Dan and I were very curious as to how Adam was going to act at the fair. Would he like it? Be cranky or what? Well.....Adam Absolutely LOVED the State Fair. He loved sharing food with mom and dad, being pulled around in his wagon....going down the giant slide with mommmy, and most of all he loved the animals!! It was so cute he kept pointing at all the animals, and at one time he tried sticking his fingers up a sheep's nose. It was gross, but pretty comical at the same time. It was a great day at the fair, and Adam was a trooper the whole time!!

Nail Polish and Poison Control
So having a 15 month old and 2 month old is a busy job right? Well today was no exception. Adam is at that age now where he is into absolutely everything, I mean everything. Well today while playing in his room, we heard him yelling like he locked himself in the closest. He likes playing in his closet and while doing this sometimes he shuts the door and locks himself in. That's where we thought he was. When we went in the boys' room to free him from the closet, we found that Adam was not in the closet, but had gotten into the bathroom. The boys have now taken over the master bedroom because it is bigger for the 2 of them to share. Well Adam had gotten into the bathroom and decided to close the door to lock himself in. In that time of playing in the bathroom, he had gotten into the cabinets in the bathroom and got himself into the nail polish. What we walked in to find was nail polish everywhere. Including on Adam. We cleaned up the mess, and instantly called poison control as Adam had nail poish on his tongue and all around his lips. After talking to a very nice lady from poison control she assured us that Adam was going to be just fine. Little boys are just so curious at this age....
Blue Casts
On Friday we had our weekly visit to Gilette Children's hospital to get Christopher's casts changed out. He was born with club feet, and the first part of correcting it is wearing casts that go from his feet up to his hips, we have had them changed out every week since he was 1 week old. He has been such a little tropper through this whole process. Well Friday was a special day for Christoper, not only was it the last time he would have to get casts changed, but this time when we went there he was able to have blue casts instead of the white ones we always got in the past. Our nickname for him now is "little blue man."

Sharing
The other morning while Adam was playing in his room with his toys, he decided that if he was going to be playing, why not share with his brother. This is what we walked in to find..
What a nice brother he is:)
Brotherly Love
So Just within the last couple of weeks Adam has gone from having a room all to himself to getting himself a roomate. Christopher moved in a couple weeks ago. We have been very fortunate to have 2 wonderful sleepers at night, but occasionally Christopher will not make it all night. If Christopher does happen to wake up, when we go into their dark room all we can hear is Uh Oh...Uh Oh. this is Adam's phrase he uses whenever Christopher is crying. He wants to make sure we know that his brother is awake and we are gonig to make him stop crying.

Taking the Plunge
After talking about this for weeks and weeks it's finally happening......Our family is starting a blog. I knew I always wanted to do this sort of thing, but never got the motivation to do it. So many people have been telling me this was a great way to keep track of all the fun little moments and memories of our family (I am not good at keeping scrapbooks or anything like that) so this is perfect. Now I am rambling on and on so that means its time to stop. Well here it is, 1st post done. Enjoy our blog:)
