Its Beginning to Look a lot like Christmas!

As this weekend was the long Holiday weekend, what better way to get into the Chirstmas spirit by decorating our house for Christmas.  Friday night while I was out with friends Dan and the boys hauled the tree inside and got it set up.  Saturday we went to town decorating, or "trimming the tree"  What a beautiful site it is:)  Our Camera is on the fritz otherwise I would have pictures of the masterpiece done mostly by Adam....He LOVED putting the decorations on the tree!

That night we went downtown with Mindy and Kaylee to see the Macy's 8th floor display, "A Day In The Life Of An Elf", saw the big guy himself, ate McDonalds, and sat out in the freezing cold waiting for the Holidazle parade.

All of these events were very excting as they were firsts for both Adam and Christpopher....excpet of course seeing the big guy.   Christopher sat on Santa's lap and did just fine.  He was however trying to figure out who this big guy with the funny suit and beard were.  Adam on the other hand was a little hesitant and did not want much to do with him.  He soon warmed up when Santa gave him a button.  In the end he was telling Santa he wanted toys for Christmas and gave him a high five and yelled "BYE SANTA."

The Holidazle was a great way to end our day of gearing up for the Christmas Holiday.  The weather was cold, but the lights were pretty, and all the kids enjoyed it!  Now if only I could get this motivated to get my Christmas shopping done:)  Happy Holidays!!!

Thanks Mindy for taking great pictures for us:)

Happy Halloween 2010

For Halloween this year Adam was dressed as a cow, and Christopher was Mickey Mouse.  This was a big night for out little Trick or Treaters....Especially Christopher as this was his first night out trick or treating.  Adam went last year but didn't really get it.  This year he loved it.

Auntie Meagan and Matt were down visting for the weekend so they came out with us as we hit up the houses in our neighborhood.

From there we went to Grandpas, and then off to Pat and Lindsey's to do some trick or treating with Ben.

We ended the night visting Grandma.

Adam absolutely loved trick or treating, and was sooooo good at it....sometimes he was a little too friendly:)  it was a great night filled with fun, and lots of candy....Until next year.

Happy Halloween!!!

Splish Splash

I feel like I am pretty good at taking pictures of the boys, but I don't really have any bath time photos....so during the last bath time....Dan thought it was a great opportunity for a photo opp.

The boys seem to love bath time for the most part, until its time to wash their hair.  We have a hand-held shower, which seems to be the best way to get their hair washed...
Adam doesn't seem to mind it, as he loves taking showers, where Christopher on the other hand, as soon as the shower is in your hand, he is screaming and squirming to get the heck out of the tub.

After a minute of torture, they are back to having a good time....

Halloween at General Mills

On Saturday, October 24th the boys and I along with Mindy, and Jason and all the kids were invited to General Mills where Lindsey works for the Fall Festival.  The kids can dress up in their costumes, play games, get their faces painted, and go on a candy walk.   It was a great day,and all the kids had a ton of fun.  Can't wait to do it all over again next year.
