Friday was a big night for Adam... We said Buh Bye to Adam's crib.
I was a little hesitant on how he would do in the Big Boy Bed, but he has done so great! The key is to put him down when he is really tired and then he goes right to sleep.
Last night was really cute, he went to bed great, but around 10:30 he got up, came out to the living room walking around saying "hi Momma" Hi Daddy", Dan picked him up, put him in bed, where he went right to sleep!
He then woke up around 2:00 am and quitely snuck into our bed, which was sweet. Today we took him to Target where he picked out his very own Cars bedding. As you can see...he sure loves his new bed.
These are all signs that my little buddy is growing up! Can't believe he is in a big boy bed!
Critter by the way is loving his new bed as well.....He has been sleeping in a pack and play, but now gets the crib. He loves having all the space of a crib.
We have had quite the weekend of transitions around here, and I think they are going to all be great ones!!!

10 Month Stats...
Yesterday was our well check appointment with Dr. Kuku for Critter....I know from the last post you are probably sitting on the edge of your seat wondering what his stats are so here we go....
Weight: 17.8 Pounds
Height: 27 Inches
He is still my little peanut however, only being in the 5 Percentile for height and weight, but his check up went great. Dr.Kuku said he was doing perfect....Of course we knew that:) Hearing it from the doctor just made it that much better:)
My brave little buddy had to also have a finger poke to check his Iron, and the last dose of his Hep B shot. I think I was more nervous for this, as I always am....I made sure to have his Nuk in mouth ready to go when the shot was coming, and to my surprise he didn't even flinch. Hmm I thought what a good little buddy. Next it was time for labs to get his finger poked.....I thought once again, this isn't going to be good.
Next thing you know the finger poke is done, and Critter is just sitting on my lap sucking his Nuk, looking like okay lady, you can give me my hand back anytime now:) 1 shot and 1 finger poke and no crying. That was awesome.
So all in all we had a good well check, Can't wait to see where he is at in 2 months for the 1 year Well Check!

10 Months
2 months from now Critter will be 1. My babies are growing so fast before my very eyes. Here are some of the highlights from month 10.
Scooting.....As soon as we put him down on the floor he is gone, he loves to scoot into the kitchen and manages to find every little crumb that wasn't swept off the floor. He is getting so close to crawling though...once in a while we will find him on all 4's rocking back and forth, but when you call him....down he goes into the army crawl.
Clapping....this is something new Critter learned to do just a few days ago. I was putting him into his jump a roo, and he looked at me and stared clapping....It was the cutest thing ever. Now anytime we praise him, he is so proud that he can clap.
Babbling.....lately Christopher has started to bable a little more and more. I try to get him to say mamma...but when you ask him to say it, all he says is da da da da da which of course daddy loves.
At ten months Christopher is also graduating into 3rd foods now with a little more texture and substance. He is such a good little eater, anything we try to feed him he eats, and he is just so happy when he is eating. He loves his food, and loves his bottle that he can hold by himself now too:) Just don't try taking it away, he gets very angry when that happens....and is so upset when the food is gone.
As far as stats for weight and height...stay tuned for that as we have our Well Check appointment on Wednesday....

23 Months
Its hard to believe where time really goes. It seems like yesterday Adam was born and now, next month at this time he will be 2.
Not an infant anymore, but my little toddler. Time sure flies when you aren't looking. At 23 months Adam is saying more and more words, its fun talking to him because he is really starting to get what you are saying and understanding things. He loves big trucks especially when we are driving in the car, everytime we pass a big semi Adam yells "WOW".
He also loves talking on mommy and daddy's phone, whether it be grandma, grandpa, momma, daddy, or lately his aunts, uncles and cousins he loves walking around talking to you, and is really upset when you take the phone back.
I have also found that this is the age where they really test your patience. you can definitely tell that Adam has reached what some people call the "terrible 2's" and its a month early. He likes to play with all his friends at daycare, but sometimes he starts bugging them by taking away their toys, or hiding their nooks:) I know he means no harm but sometimes he can be quite the little stinker:) He's even had a time out or 2 which is a first for him:)
Adam my sweet little buddy you are such a cute little guy and a great big brother, these past 23 months have been so much fun seeing you learn new things and grow, I know this is just the beginning and I can wait to see what else is in store for you as the years go by. We love you little buddy:)

Long Overdue Update
I admit I am terrible at keeping up with adding posts to my blog....I guess having 2 small boys will do that to you. Anyway I thought that since I was loading pictures onto the computer I would load some on my blog too.
Adam loves to have Critter come and snuggle with him in his crib:)
Adam and his new Ball to play outside with!
That's all for now! I promise I am going to start getting back into updating this more often than I have been!
