Nail Polish and Poison Control

So having a 15 month old and 2 month old is a busy job right? Well today was no exception. Adam is at that age now where he is into absolutely everything, I mean everything. Well today while playing in his room, we heard him yelling like he locked himself in the closest. He likes playing in his closet and while doing this sometimes he shuts the door and locks himself in. That's where we thought he was. When we went in the boys' room to free him from the closet, we found that Adam was not in the closet, but had gotten into the bathroom. The boys have now taken over the master bedroom because it is bigger for the 2 of them to share. Well Adam had gotten into the bathroom and decided to close the door to lock himself in. In that time of playing in the bathroom, he had gotten into the cabinets in the bathroom and got himself into the nail polish. What we walked in to find was nail polish everywhere. Including on Adam. We cleaned up the mess, and instantly called poison control as Adam had nail poish on his tongue and all around his lips. After talking to a very nice lady from poison control she assured us that Adam was going to be just fine. Little boys are just so curious at this age....

Blue Casts

On Friday we had our weekly visit to Gilette Children's hospital to get Christopher's casts changed out. He was born with club feet, and the first part of correcting it is wearing casts that go from his feet up to his hips, we have had them changed out every week since he was 1 week old. He has been such a little tropper through this whole process. Well Friday was a special day for Christoper, not only was it the last time he would have to get casts changed, but this time when we went there he was able to have blue casts instead of the white ones we always got in the past. Our nickname for him now is "little blue man."

Sharing

The other morning while Adam was playing in his room with his toys, he decided that if he was going to be playing, why not share with his brother. This is what we walked in to find..
What a nice brother he is:)

Brotherly Love

So Just within the last couple of weeks Adam has gone from having a room all to himself to getting himself a roomate. Christopher moved in a couple weeks ago. We have been very fortunate to have 2 wonderful sleepers at night, but occasionally Christopher will not make it all night. If Christopher does happen to wake up, when we go into their dark room all we can hear is Uh Oh...Uh Oh. this is Adam's phrase he uses whenever Christopher is crying. He wants to make sure we know that his brother is awake and we are gonig to make him stop crying.

Taking the Plunge

After talking about this for weeks and weeks it's finally happening......Our family is starting a blog. I knew I always wanted to do this sort of thing, but never got the motivation to do it. So many people have been telling me this was a great way to keep track of all the fun little moments and memories of our family (I am not good at keeping scrapbooks or anything like that) so this is perfect. Now I am rambling on and on so that means its time to stop. Well here it is, 1st post done. Enjoy our blog:)
